Gibralfaro Castle opening hours
General information
Gibralfaro Castle is open for visits every day of the year.
The estimated time of the visit is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Access to the monument will not be allowed 45 minutes before closing time. This is the time offered to the visitor who is inside to finish his or her visit.
Visiting hours
Winter (From 1 November to 31 March) 09:00 h – 18:00 h
(last pass 17:15 h).
Summer (From 1 April to 31 October) 9:00 h – 20:00 h
(last pass 19:15 h).

You will understand the history, architecture and legends in a pleasant and instructive way, making the visit an unforgettable experience. - There are 3 options for getting to the castle: the first is by car (parking space is limited); the second option is to take bus number 35, which will leave you at the door of the monument, and whose stop is in the Malaga park; the last option is to walk up to the castle. This approximately 20-minute walk allows us to enjoy the views that the path offers.
