Why choose our school visits?

Our team

We are qualified, young and dynamic professionals who are able to connect with students from the very first moment, regardless of their age. We are not just monitors: all of us are qualified guides with specialised training in different areas, such as geography and history, infant and primary education, and tourism. In addition, our extensive experience in school visits allows us to empathise with each student and manage the group in a close and effective way. This combination of experience and preparation guarantees us to offer high quality content, which goes beyond the educational aspect.

Our objectives

Our main objective is to promote culture and history among young people. We are aware of the current trends in modern society and we are totally convinced of the importance of knowing the past so that they have the necessary tools to build their own future. But we do not want our work to be a passing experience that is forgotten after a short time; we want to awaken in them an interest that many of them have dormant: the interest to know more.

Our resources

We have the best possible resources to carry out our educational objective and they are the valuable heritage of Malaga, with the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle as unique settings to teach and understand history. There is no better way to bring students closer to the past than to do it through history itself, inside the most impregnable Arab fortification in Spain. Its walls, which have watched over the city for more than a thousand years, its narrow corridors where battles were fought, the ramparts that the guards used to walk along and its majestic towers allow us to experience history in a tangible and unforgettable way.

Designed for students

We adapt our visits to each of the educational stages of the students who accompany us. The content, games and times are carefully designed to ensure that they are appropriate for the age of each child, facilitating their understanding and awakening their interest. In addition, we analyse the didactic programming of each educational cycle to make the activity even more accessible and relevant.

Whether it is for the second cycle of infants, for the different cycles of primary school or for secondary school, each visit is fully personalised to meet the specific needs and characteristics of the groups.

Tool for teachers

This visit is another tool to complement and reinforce what they have been working on in the classroom. Our activity is designed to encourage teamwork, active participation, cognitive development, historical thinking and problem-solving, all in a context that will stimulate their curiosity about the past. In addition, the visit teaches respect for cultural heritage and promotes empathy by putting oneself in the shoes of those who inhabited and defended these monuments.

Frequently asked questions

The duration of the visit is flexible and is adapted to the needs of each school. We are aware that the arrival time may depend on the distance from the school or institute to the meeting point, and that the pick-up time is usually adjusted to the canteen service and the logistics of each group. We recommend an approximate time of 2 hours and 30 minutes to get the most out of the visit, but we can adjust to the time available so that everyone enjoys the experience.

To ensure a quality experience, we assign one guide per class to maintain the groups. If a class group is very large, it will be split in two to ensure that all students can actively participate and enjoy the tour. If there are fewer than 10 students, we can unify groups to facilitate interaction. We aim to maintain an ideal ratio of 15-25 children per guide.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash on the day of the visit.

Yes, all our prices include VAT, and if required, we will provide a detailed invoice to the email address provided.

There is no maximum number of students, in case there are many classes that want to do the activity, it is possible to do it in successive days to guarantee a quality experience.

No problem. We make sure that all students can fully enjoy the visit. We ask the teacher to inform us in advance of any special needs, and once at the meeting point, they can also point out to us any students who require extra attention. Our team is trained, committed and will take a keen interest in making the experience inclusive and enjoyable for all.

In case of rain, we offer the possibility to reschedule the visit for another date. Please let us know the day before if you wish to postpone your visit.

The Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle are not adapted for people with limited mobility.

We know that children's appetites are whetted once they go outside, and even more so if the activity takes place during playtime, so we offer them a strategic space during the visit so that they can have a quiet lunch.

If the group is running late, we will adjust the time available to ensure that they can make the most of the visit. Our team will be at the meeting point waiting for them and will manage the tour to fit in the remaining time, ensuring that the experience is satisfactory for everyone.

Inside the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle there are toilets and we will make a strategic stop so that you can make use of them.
