Description

The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and has been designed to suit all audiences, whether adults, families or groups of friends, with the intention that each visitor takes away an unforgettable experience. Throughout the visit, the guide will be attentive to your comfort and willing to answer any questions or curiosities, as well as adapting the pace and content according to the group. The tour concludes inside the Alcazaba, allowing you to continue exploring and taking pictures at your own pace, without having to rush.

The visit begins in the fortified part, where the narrow walled corridors and the bent gates reveal the ingenious defensive design that made the Alcazaba one of the most impregnable fortifications of Al-Andalus. At this point, our guide will transport you back to the Middle Ages, making you feel like a soldier trying to protect or conquer the fortress, allowing you to understand the importance of the Alcazaba in the conquest of Malaga by the Christians. Next, we will enter the palace area, where gardens, fountains and magnificent views take us to the Arab palace life, customs and culture in medieval Malaga. Through every corner, you will discover the different historical stages that the city has lived through and the rich cultural heritage that these walls still preserve.
